Well,now-a-days its not difficult to come across such couples who aint dating officially’ but are ‘dating without the tag’.Oh yes!I am talking about those friends you see texting each other day and night about every single thing they are doing in the day,missing each other all day and getting intimate when left alone and Yes they call themselves “friends”. Watched the movies “No strings attached” and “Friends with Benefits”?! Apparently they depict a similar theme,only more focused on sex than other emotional stuff!
                 Well,what’s your take in this?!Imagine yourself stuck in the same scenario- not getting in,not getting out(listen,we aint talking dirty here..so halt your thoughts! ).Okay,so where was I..yeah..Give this a food of thought.Put yourself in the same shoes.How does it feel?! Good?! Awkward?!Nothing?! About 60 percent of college students participating in a 2011 Michigan State University study admitted to engaging in at least one “Friends With Benefits” (FWB) arrangement at some point in their lives.The same Michigan State study found that only 10 percent of FWB arrangements end in real romantic relationships. But here’s the shocking part: They also found that just 26 percent of FWB actually ended in a wrecked friendship. Here’s a better way to look at it: 74 percent of FWB relationships DON’T destroy the friendship. “Most people who enter friends with benefits relationships don’t want relationships, but they still have sexual needs,” says study coauthor Timothy Levine, Ph.D., professor of communication at Michigan State University. “And they likely conclude that sleeping with a friend is safer than sleeping with a stranger.”

 

      The best thing about an FWB relationship is that the two friends involved in the thing decide to be at this level only for easy sex without being pressurized by the commitments and limitations of an actual romantic relationship. That calls for the cherry on the cake – no emotional drama and over that sexual satisfaction..sounds fun ..eh?! Wait..You are yet to know the cons of it..Yes,like every coin has two sides so does FWB!
Untill the partners are very determined to keep the relation only till the bed,FWB works well.But at times , one of the partners gets too attached and that’s when the hassle begins.That partner would be jealous if the other person starts dating someone else and chances of spats increase if one of the two inclines to get emotionally hurt.Hence the tip goes that if you want to be in a successful FWB relationship then shed off your nature of being possessive because if you aren’t dating her , letting her not date somebody else is entirely unfair.Another con with FWB is that the worst case scenario happens to be that the friendship seems to develop cracks!Hence if you are best friends with someone like say since childhood then avoid sleeping with her and jeopardizing your friendship.Hence the tip is that don’t be a Fuck buddy to a close friend.Be FF with acquaintances where if you have a squabble , you can easily drop down the relation which will be the case otherwise if you are FF with a close pal.

Being Fuck buddies can be fun and pleasing but “Red Alert” – getting emotionally attached wont let you remain sexily ever after! So if you are looking out for an FWB relationship,though it may sound callous, keep that heart of yours passive and let only your body do the talking!
